The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Leading and managing multiple Information Technology (IT) Projects, IT Initiatives, IT Finance, IT Process and Standards, IT Incidents and Open Issue Managements (Regulatory Matter, Internal/External Audit and MSII) in Latin America & Canada which have impacts on the business operations of the bank entity wide by collaborating with executives such as CIOO, CISO and IT Head in Latin America & Canada. Directing and providing guidance to Latin America and Canada IT Teams regarding deliverables quality of IT projects; conferring with project personnel to identity and resolve problems; managing project execution to ensure adherence to budge, schedule and scope; and monitoring and tracking project milestones and deliverables. Ensuring IT processes and standards comply with regulatory requirements for global settlements in Latin America. Providing guidance and instruction to multiple entities outside U.S. and IT departments to follow U.S. owned policy, standard and procedures called REPLC (Regional Enterprise Life Cycle) so the projects will be verified into a satisfactory level of quality from IT Project cost, IT project scope, IT project resource, IT Project schedule, IT Project risk and IT Project issue perspective. Reviewing and working with the Director, Vice President and Associate Vice President in the Operations and Technology for the Americas Group at MUBK U.S. in Jersey City, New Jersey to create and revise Latin America and Canada Information Technology policy, standard and procedure owned by team. Reviewing and challenging Information Technology systems annual investment budget of $16M – $20M for Latin America and Canada Information Technology projects. Managing Banco MUFG Brazil S.A.(subsidiary) and MUFG Bank Mexico S.A. (subsidiary) and MUFG Bank Ltd., Canada (branch)’s IT departments to have each Chief Information & Operations Officer / Chief Information Security Officer (executives) report to US Chief Information & Operations Officer / Chief Information Security Officer (executives) in Monthly Executive Meeting regarding IT Initiatives, IT project governance, Information Security and IT Open Issue Managements (internal audits) under the governance of MUBK U.S. Supervising the work of 1 Regional Office Strategy & Support (Latin America & Canada). Assistant Vice President (AVP).

Qualifications – External

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).

Experience: 10 years of IT project management experience in the banking or financial services industry supporting LatAm global settlement, transaction banking, and core banking; ensuring IT processes and standards comply with regulatory requirements for global settlements in LatAm; managing multiple [minimum 20] IT Projects, IT Initiatives, IT Finance, IT Process and Standards, IT Incidents and Open Issue Managements (Regulatory Matter, Internal/External Audit and Management Self-Identified Issue) in Latin America & Canada.

Other: Position requires travel to Canada and Latin America as needed up to 2 weeks a year.

Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.

Wage: $157,768 to $170,000 U.S. dollars per year
