The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Summary:

We are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide consultative and collaborative solutions in the areas of conflict and problem resolution, workplace investigations, performance and conduct management, leadership capability, and HR policy interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve general employee relations issues; provide direction and recommendations to all levels of leadership, ensure fairness and consistency of policy and practice.

• Investigate and resolve employee complaints, issues, and concerns regarding employment practices.

• Document and maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, including investigation reports, disciplinary actions, and employee conversations.

• Collaborate with managers to address performance-related issues and provide guidance on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.

• Support the development and implementation of strategies to enhance employee engagement and strengthen organizational culture.

• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

• Work with legal counsel on lawsuit discovery and litigation preparation.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Human Resources and/or Employee Relations experience.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct workplace investigations, make sound recommendations, and accurately document findings.

• Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner.

• Excellent coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution skills.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and, ability to prioritize.

• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $80K- $105K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
