Key Responsibilities
Designing, configuring, and implementing various of network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Managing IT network related project
Work in partnership with colleagues in the Jakarta branch and Regional network teams to share knowledge, support regional/global initiatives and best practices on network.
Work in partnership with colleagues in the Asia Pacific region to support regional network improvement plans to ensure a consistent level of maturity in technology and processes across the region.
Work in partnership with various departments with regional and Head Office to implement network projects to uplift the current network capability against the various cyber threats and to meet regulatory expectations.
Requirements
Bachelor in computer, IT or a related filed
Desirable to have at least 3 years of experience in relevant industry
Good Command in English
Proven hands-on network engineering experience (https://resources.workable.com/network-engineer-interview-questions)
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
Network related certification is an advantage
