Job Requirements

Talent Management and Development

  • Execute a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with the regional people priorities.

  • Manage the talent identification and integrate with the talent development events to support the talent needs and business priorities of Hong Kong branch.

  • Manage the talent-related projects and initiatives, including talent assessments, leadership and talent development programmes, and succession planning. This also includes designing career development frameworks, mentoring programmes, and other initiatives that support talent growth and retention.

  • Manage the end-to-end learning journey of early-career talents including overseeing the programmes design and implementation by collaborating with HR Business Partners and business leaders. Assess future talent needs and create development plans to prepare for future leadership positions.

  • Utilise HR data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of talent programmes and projects.

Employee Engagement

  • Manages and ensure the completion of annual MUFG Engagement Survey (MES) and Pulse Checks.

  • Establish a feedback mechanism to hear from employees in Hong Kong branch (inclusive of direct and annual survey and pulse check feedback) to bring to the branch management.

  • Provide employee feedback analytics to branch management and business leaders to accelerate the understanding of employee sentiment and help formulate employee engagement strategy.

  • Drive participation and manager’s accountability to the survey results through established communication plans and mediums.

  • Facilitate the Employee Resource Network (ERN) to establish follow-up actions for Hong Kong branch and business units.

  • Develop and implement programmes that promote the desired corporate culture, employee recognition, and career development.

  • Partner with the regional team to deliver the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) events to foster the diversity objectives of the organisation.

People

  • Role-model to team members on the expected leadership behaviours as a Talent & Learning member

  • Support, coach, and advise team members and the wider HR team on areas where you hold the subject matter expertise

  • Strong working relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside of GHR

  • Collaborate effectively with Talent & Learning and Human Resources Business Partner extended teams (Regional and Country)

  • Build and maintain a strong teamwork amongst Talent & Learning team members in the regional team

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources / Psychology / Management or related.

  • At least 5+ years of relevant working experience. HR Business Partner or management consulting experience is an added advantage

  • Intermediate to expert working experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good presentation & facilitation skills

  • Working knowledge with talent, culture and change frameworks

  • Able to manage stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders

  • Proven experience in managing country level projects and initiatives

  • Articulate ideas with logic and sound reasoning

  • Innovative, able to provide practical solutions

  • Resilient, and able to manage competing priorities
