We are currently recruiting for a Vice President, Loan Sales for our Global Corporate & Investment Banking Division in Amsterdam.

Main purpose of the role

The sell down and acquisition of private side debt instruments on behalf of the Bank and Securities company and for its clients and to maintain a high profile amongst bank and selected institutional investors via MUS(EU)/MBE

Private Sales - Bank Coverage – Distribution of assets originated through the banks general business Strategy and the sale and purchase of secondary assets on behalf of the bank’s Portfolio Management Group. The position is based in MBE, Amsterdam, and the candidate will be locally employed by MUS (EU).

The role includes the following:

  • To identify possible buyers and sellers of loans and other relevant debt products to generate liquidity solutions for the banks clients

  • To operate as the European sales conduit for closed regime countries

  • To execute secondary trades and to collate commitments for primary transactions for their coverage area as it may be defined by the line manager, focused on closed regime countries within the EU

  • To gather market intelligence on liquidity and underlying market conditions for use by the syndicate and origination teams as and where appropriate

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Essential

  • Experienced Loan Market professional (minimum 5 years)

  • Secondary sales and trading skills and familiarity with LMA standard documentation

  • Sales experience

  • Credit Analysis training

  • Ability to use Bloomberg, Cortex and Debtdomain

  • Excel advance standard

  • Bachelor or Master degree

Preferred

  • Project finance

  • Leveraged finance and/or asset back lending

  • Trade finance

  • Loan IQ, Clear Par, LPC

  • Languages, ideally French and Spanish

  • CFA

What do we have to offer:

  • Gross salary based on experience and consistent with the market
