Job Summary:

Be a part of our Mortgage Customer Service team in San Diego, California! As a part of our fun and engaging team, you will provide consumer and real estate loan account information and respond to customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence. You will research and resolve simple customer problems and assist other loan servicing units. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor agreements, and any Bank policies and procedures as pertaining to the servicing of real estate and consumer loans. Our team works in a call center environment, which is dynamic and fast-paced. We are results oriented and achieve our team customer service standards.

Major Responsibilities:

  • You will evaluate and respond to all customer and bank personnel inquiries via telephone and written correspondence.

  • You will maintain online information in response to customer needs, to include coupon ordering, name and address changes, history and amortization requests, and other miscellaneous requests.

  • You will prepare forms, pre-written business letters, short memos, reports, documents and instruments.

  • You will distribute and file forms, correspondence, instruments, daily mail and systems reports.

  • You will regularly use computer and software systems daily. You will analyze and resolve payment inquiries, problems, research title, escrow and year-end documents.

  • You will inform customers of consumer and real estate product lines, answer questions on such items, and make referrals to loan production offices.

  • You also may assist other loan servicing units as needed.

Qualifications

Additional Information:

  • You have completed a high school diploma or G.E.D.

  • You have worked in a call center environment (preferred)

  • You have at least 1-2 years of banking, mortgage or financial services related industry experience.

  • You possess experience working with BlackKnight or MSP applications, or other related mortgage industry software.

  • You love working and interacting with customers and providing extraordinary customer service

  • You thrive in a dynamic work environment

  • You are available to work on some weekends

  • You have a sharp attention to detail and ability to multi-task
