We're seeking a Project Specialist to research, coordinate, and manage assigned projects for a specific business under the guidance of management. Your assigned projects may include simplifying processes, improve efficiencies, meet changing business needs, solving compliance issues, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages a large inter-division project by assisting in the development, administration of the project plan, and coordinates implementation of project rollout.

  • Serves as a coordinator of the project team responsible for ensuring the project's success.

  • Quickly identify the business needs and translate these needs into business requirements, exhibiting a comprehensive knowledge of the Bank's business and system flows within the organization.

  • Designs and develop reporting to keep projects on target, identify issues resolution and update management on projects.

  • Coordinate project flow with other impacted departments for the bank.

  • Assist in reviewing long-range business plan proposals based on current and anticipated business needs.

  • Presents project plans, research and statistical analysis and makes recommendations to management to help identify methods, procedures and technologies that enhance project processes.

  • Plans and conducts the analysis of business problems.

  • Make recommendations to management on methods, procedures, and technologies that enhance project processes.

  • Make recommendations to management for improvements to vary projects, tasks and objectives.

  • Data analysis and building PowerPoint presentations for management communication of strategic initiatives.

  • Monitors and reports trends.

  • Participates as a key player on other projects and represents the business unit in multi-division projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

The right candidate will have:

  • 4 years’ experience in project management and hands-on banking compliance experience.

  • Requires advanced communication skill level of composing and writing detailed business specifications, project plans, negotiation, recommendations, reports and internal project policies and presentations.

  • Ability to handle a variety of projects and to conduct meetings and training sessions with other technical staff.

  • Strong database and spreadsheet skills, analytical, communication, and PowerPoint skills.

  • Knowledge of Bank legacy systems and familiarity with bank services, systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Requires the ability to describe business problems and their solutions to management.

  • Understands the capabilities of data processing technology and bank systems, applies this understanding to business area projects and initiatives.
