As the OD Program Manager and Facilitator, you will facilitate leadership and professional development virtual and in-person courses, and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development solutions.
In partnership with other learning professionals, you may conduct needs assessments, formulate solutions, and develop curricula, workshops, and other custom deliverables to execute those solutions.
How you'll make an impact:
You will deliver custom and standard training solutions in leadership and professional development. Solutions may include classroom training, online training, job aids, and blended learning.
You'll prepare to instruct workshops by reviewing materials, practicing systems, building visuals, testing equipment, rehearsing, obtaining advice and information from other instructors, preparing exercises, setting-up room and materials, making travel plans, and traveling to locations.
You will employ performance advising skills to identify and define performance gaps. Formulate strategies and develop solutions for closing the performance gaps.
You will keep knowledge up to date on changes in Bank and training department policies and procedures.
You will develop knowledge and skills to continuously improve facilitation skills, curriculum design skills, and learns to instruct workshops in additional areas of specialization by observing and co-facilitating internal workshops and by attending internal and external train-the-trainer workshops.
You'll advise, provide ideas, and participate in decisions regarding department operations including development of policies.
You will participate in staff meetings and contribute to professional development in the department by sharing knowledge.
You will assure that training centers are in clean, safe working order for participants and instructors by performing light cleaning, organizing and placing furniture. You will also organize and store instructional supplies, materials, and equipment, and identify and assure that equipment and facility repairs are made.
What you'll bring to the team:
Typically you will have 5 years relevant experience.
You will bring proficiency in curriculum and workshop design and expertise in all training techniques used at the Bank acquired through a minimum of 5 years of training design and facilitation experience.
You have expertise and core knowledge of leadership, management and relevant professional skills, such as presentation skills and communication skills.
You have excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts.
You bring the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
You have strong social and relationship development skills.
You have familiarity with Microsoft Office.
