Job Summary:

Provide loan administration services for complex permanent commercial loans, construction loans, and/or commercial business loans depending on department. Management or Supervision: No

Major Responsibilities:

  • Obtains and reviews entity documentation to determine authorized signers for legal documentation.

  • Reviews third party property reports for accuracy and relevant data.

  • Prepare loan documentation to reflect approved loan terms and consistency with Bank Policy and Procedures for new loans and modifications as well as compliance with governing regulatory authorities.

  • Ensure loan documentation complies with Banks operational requirements and can be serviced on Banks system of record.

  • Coordinate document negotiations between borrower, attorney and account officers as appropriate and obtain approvals as required.

  • Responsible for interfacing with escrow, Title Company, loan officer, mortgage broker, and/or customer to relay loan approval and facilitate the loan closing.

  • Review executed loan documents to ensure integrity of documents and proper execution.

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Bank's lien is properly secured and acceptable title and hazard insurance is obtained, all conditions have been satisfied and signed off by appropriate authorized levels, and coordinate closing and funding of the loan.

  • Preparation of funding documentation including but not limited to boarding data for data processing system, reconciliation of fees and deposits, and satisfaction of loan compliance issues.

  • Miscellaneous Duties: Ad hoc projects as requested


Additional Information:

  • Thorough understanding of commercial loans and/or business loans, all applicable Federal regulations and requirements and commercial lending guidelines.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Ability to work independently and to make informed decisions.

  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail.

  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office/Word/Excel in the Windows environment.

  • Education, Licensure, Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct and in-depth work experience in commercial loan processing, documenting and funding loans with general knowledge in all areas of Loan Processing and/or Funding.

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate and/or commercial documentation.

  • Previous experience with preparing loan documents through the use of an automated documentation system.
