This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.

Job Summary:

The Agency Lender Relations Senior Specialist has responsibility for managing incoming lender inquiries/deliverables across a portfolio of credit facilities where MUFG acts as Administrative Agent.

A syndicated loan is extended by a group of financial institutions to a Borrower. As Administrative Agent, MUFG is responsible for facilitating administtasks of the loan and acting as an intermediary between the borrower and lender(s). This role will focus specifically on interfacing with lenders to our agented transactions.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring incoming emails, actioning items that pertain to syndicate lenders.

  • Using MUFG loan and payment systems to independently answer/resolve incoming lender inquiries, which are typically administrative in nature (i.e.: sending proof of payment, updating contact information, providing notifications which breakdown payments the lender entity received, etc.).

  • Partnering with Agency Operations Analysts on complex, non-routine administrative tasks.

  • Raising lender issues to leadership (complaints, processing issues, potential errors).

  • Participating in additional ad-hoc activities, including procedural updates, control and reconciliation exercises, enhancement/upgrade testing, functionality/design changes, etc.


  • 0-2 years of experience in Syndicated lending, preferably in the Admin Agent role, preferred.

  • Very strong written and verbal communications skill.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a high-pressure environment.

  • Comfortable managing aspects of Agency servicing, including interaction with senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business a plus: ACBS, Loan IQ, AFS, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Intralinks, Debt Domain.

The typical base range for this role is between $24.03 per hour – $28.84 per hour depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
