Data Integration & Standardization that supports digital transformation and implementation of Enterprise Data Platform on AWS. Lead a team of data architects/modelers and cloud data engineers to develop Enterprise Canonical models/Standard Output Formats (SOFs) and integrate the data pipelines to curate the Data Lake with reconciliations and controls in place. Develop data architectures that are inherently secure, robust, resilient, scalable, and enable API-centric and micro services ecosystem.
Core Operational Support Services and Data APIs
Responsible for Data Modeling, Data Integration / Curation Pipelining, and Enterprise Calculation Services; Data Integration Orchestration, Data Transformation, Real-Time Data Integration, Stream Processing, DQ Rules Interact with Sourcing and Consumption Layer capability teams and oversee the integration and staging of data, and the development and maintenance of the SOFs and Infomarts Accountable for management of project prioritization, progress, and workload management across Data Modeling and Data Engineering staff to ensure on-time delivery
Establish technical guidelines and standards along data life cycle
Be a thought leader and champion data architecture and data modeling best practices and solutioning Collaborate with the data governance and data standardization teams in Chief Data Office organization for enabling data quality rules, reconciliations, and Enterprise List of values (LOVs) Define the solutions and roadmap for EDP services within the framework defined by Enterprise Data Architecture, including the Enterprise Data Model
Define and manage against clearly defined, published Service Level Agreements (SLA's) for all EDP services Actively ensure continuous improvement in the quality and performance of EDP services through the consistent application of continuous improvement techniques.
Supervise staff and external resources, including interviewing, hiring, and termination of resources; recommending salary changes, job promotions, setting work hours, conducting counseling /performance reviews, and planning of work
Architecture experience across OLTP, reporting, analytics and/or data science; 10 years Financial Services experience in data architecture and data integration preferred Experience in Data Lake/Hadoop platform implementation, including hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning
5 years of experience in end-to-end design and build of Near-Real Time and Batch Data Pipelines
3 years of experience in delivering data solutions and architecture using AWS services like Kinesis, EC2, S3, EMR, Spark, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, S3, RDS, Dynamo DB, Glue Catalog, and Athena
5 years of leadership experience building and leading architecture or data engineering organizations
8 experience in Data Architecture, Data Integration, Data Governance and Data Lineage concepts
5 years of experience working in Agile environments
Demonstrated ability to connect and engage with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proven leadership experience in establishing and leading architecture and engineering organization
