We're seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain computer systems and networks. You will provide system architectural direction and recommendations, formulate scope and objectives, and devise and modify procedures to solve problems.
Deliver reliable, robust, resilient, and secure software solutions that meet strict operational specifications through development of system logic.
Accountable for software system design, including loose coupling across platforms.
Expectations include critical thinking leading to discussion driving out efficient solutions capable of solving complex business requirements.
Partner with team members in planning, architecture, infrastructure, and operations to construct enterprise solutions.
Develop and maintain SOAP and RESTful business function on DataPower, JBoss, or in the Cloud
Analyze system interaction issues.
Perform peer reviews
Develop unit test cases and plans and provide testing support (sometimes on weekends)
Mentor contractors and new developers
The right candidate will have:
5 - 7 years experience in DataPower development and financial systems
5 years experience in JBoss development
Knowledge of development, environment, and support tools
Experience in cloud development of APIs and Microservices, including Amazon AWS Cloud development
Technical expertise in analysis, design, coding, testing debugging new and existing services
Akana SOA management, MuleSoft, and SOMA experience is a plus
Knowledge of: DataPower Firmware XI220.127.116.11.1, JDK 1.6, TOAD for Oracle Pro 12.0, Oracle Client, MKS Integrity Client, some zip utility (WinRAR, 7-zip, WinZip), Microsoft Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Splunk
Experience managing: JDK Install, Maven, Ant, JBoss Developer Studio 5.0.0, JBoss Application Server/SOA Platform 5.3.1, Soap UI, WTX Design Studio, SonarQube
Master's in Business or equivalent experience in SOA interface modeling
