This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.


In this role you will apply your technical expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis. Whether balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders or supporting more senior staff on complex projects, you use data and analysis and apply your experience, judgment, and risk mindset across your responsibilities.


  • Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions

  • Design and develop applications, system to system interfaces, and complete software solutions

  • Create documentation such as user guides and software development guides

  • Develop advanced code and perform code review


  • Solid knowledge of database and application triggers, stored procedures, Cursor, PL/SQL, Query tuning, Linux/Windows environments, and third-party tools such as Toad and SQL Developer.

  • Proficient in Oracle development tools: Application Designer, Shell Scripting and Oracle database management: Query tuning, development, PL/SQL; Application Change Assistant and Image development life cycle

  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databases.

  • Ability to analyze data and solve any issues within the environment

  • Extensive experience querying databases and optimizing queries. Proficient in enterprise development and data warehousing life cycles.

  • Work with project teams, technology stakeholders and vendors for ensuring that the design, development and implementation of application programs and services are performed within project milestone dates

  • Infrastructure setup, Requirement Analysis, System Design and configuration, Deployment , UAT and Production Support

  • Work with the IT lead to coordinate development, testing and implementation phases ensuring that all deliverables meet expectations.

  • Coordination with other infrastructure team members for the standing up and preparation of the servers/applications involved in running the solution being implemented

  • Provide required application support during system failures. Ability to debug technical issues and provide remediation.

  • Experience creating end to end data pipelines as well as CI/CD pipelines for applications delivery

  • Experience with major public cloud offerings and how to solution designs that are built around these technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and similar)

  • Preferred experience in metadata and OFSAA PR2 framework, building and extending load utility tools such as OFSAA Excel File Upload, File to Table (F2T) and Table to Table (T2T), Unified Metadata Manager, SCD, AMHM, PR2 framework


  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience with PLSQL, SQL, Oracle, UNIX, OFSAA Credit Risk Modules

  • Experience implementing and maintaining the Oracle PL/SQL applications

  • Experience in designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats

  • Experience with Python, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or any cloud provider


  • Banking experience - OFSAA Credit Risk experience
