Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Provide primary analytic support and Project management to Operational Risk Management for all Company-wide risk measurement techniques, and monitoring of industry/systemic risks that might impact the Bank.Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary analytic support and Project management to Operational Risk Management for all Company-wide risk measurement techniques, and monitoring of industry/systemic risks that might impact bank.

  • Assist the Operational Risk manager, Risk Management Consultants, and related Risk and Control Group (s) in the research and development of risk measurement/monitoring methodologies, including defining, creating and collecting the necessary data requirement from existing systems.

  • Develop risk reports and presentation for the Operational Risk Manager, Executive Management and the Board.

  • Provide analytic and project management, in the development and implementation of risk management analytical best practices and systems as well as special projects.

  • Supervise staff to support the preceding responsibilities as necessary.

  • Exceptional skills in quantitative methods and computer technology, including the application of advanced statistical techniques, and financial modeling required.

  • Previous experience in Financial Analysis, simulation and forecasting.

  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate, analyze and summarize detailed data to Executive Management in a meaningful and simplified presentation format.

  • Experience developing, tracking, analyzing and reporting on operating loss related events Advanced/Expert in Excel, MS Access and Power Point.

  • Significant project management experience Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Knowledge, Skills And Other Qualifications Required

  • Knowledge of banking and financial services industry and financial products Familiarity and experience with database design strategies and packages BS preferred and 5+ years experience Other useful experience and skills would include the following: Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete required analysis and research Ability to work individually or within team environment Flexibility to handle changing priorities

  • Proficiency in working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data

  • Preferred understanding of machine learning techniques and modeling concepts

  • Programming skills and experience in SQL/SAS, object oriented or functional programming languages

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent relationship management and influencing abilities

  • Superior organizational, time management, and project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in simultaneously managing multiple projects

  • Preferred experience in merchant acquiring industry or independent sales organizations (ISO) credit risk management is preferred

Education/Training Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field.

  • Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator across all functions with ability to resolve all situations in a professional manner.

  • Strong leadership and executive presence.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
