As the Sanctions DevOps Engineering Manager at MUFG, you will be the technology owner for Sanctions applications, Including Hotscan and Actimize. Your focus is on improving efficiency in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by integrating software development, testing, support and maintenance, and operations. Responsibilities may include leading cloud enablement, containerization, infrastructure automation, and deployment automation; orchestrating efforts to enable a continuous integration / continuous improvement (CI/CD) pipeline; providing guidance on system options as needed in strategic planning discussions; developing and building technology solutions designed to scale and align with the DevOps model; and collaborating with both software engineers and infrastructure to manage code release.
Responsible, as the Technical Application Owner, for Sanctions applications including Hotscan, Actimize RCM and Global List Manager.
Effectively manage and assign projects as necessary while lending support to the team.
Build and maintain tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platform, ensuring that all meet our standards and reduce errors
Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.
Test system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed
Update processes and design new processes as needed
Deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise
Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements
Specifying, documenting and developing new product features, and writing automating scripts.
Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
6 years’ experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or similar role); 3 years managing a team of 3 or more people; 3 years experience installing, upgrading, configuaring and supporting commercial off the shelf applications; experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus.
3-5 years experience installing, upgrading, configuaring and supporting CGI Hotscan application; 3 years experience with Oracle, SQL, Web-Technologies, XML, ETL , schedulers (Tidal/Autosys/Tivoli etc.); Experience with Actimize RCM is a plus.
Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS
Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes
