Supporting Americas Financial Crimes Compliance (AFCC) by designing and developing data processing solutions using SAS, Informatica ETL, Oracle PL/SQL, Transact SQL, and scripting languages including Unix shell scripting and Python. Developing the design and required configurations for the application being developed using the necessary software, coordinating and installing the required software, working with monitoring team and scanning the configured hardware and installed software to ensure that the security standards and the software/hardware specifications are met. Building and supporting Enterprise Data Platforms using Informatica ETL with Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Greenplum). Developing ETL using file formats (Mainframe VSAM, XML, Excel and CSV) in Informatica ETL Tool. Designing, developing, documenting, testing, implementing and maintaining Physical and Logical data models using Erwin. Developing AIX and Linux Shell Scripts to automate the daily and monthly batch process. Developing and scheduling batch jobs using scheduling tools (Tidal, Autosys and Informatica). Building integration for Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) solution. Uploading and downloading data from AWS Cloud using informatica. Performing Informatica version upgrades, testing the upgraded software and deploying into production. Leading data integration solutions and implementations. Designing, developing, implementing, and supporting data processing environments using Informatica ETL, Oracle PL/SQL, and scripting languages including Unix shell scripting and Python, using computer engineering analysis and predicting and measuring the outcome of the data loads and its results. Performing performance testing and tuning of various programs and its ETL components, identifying system performance bottlenecks, and ensuring Service Level Agreement are met and delivered the data on time. Working closely with business analysts, developers, and AFCC to understand requirements and create Functional Design Documents, Detailed Design Documents, Data Sourcing Documents, and Unit Test Plans; and working with Production Support to diagnose and remediate production issues. Working with the IT lead to lead and coordinate development, testing, and implementation phases ensuring that all deliverables meet expectations; coordinating and supervising the consultant within the department; and managing their work and tracking their development tasks and ensure the project is completed on time. Engaging with multiple internal technology teams including infrastructure, middleware, network/system administration, and enterprise security to design and develop the required solutions. Providing significant input for the creation of technology related project documents including functional and detailed design documents ensuring that the design meets requirements and is detailed enough to provide to development teams. Coordinating with other infrastructure team members for the standing up and preparation of the servers/applications involved in running the solution being implemented, planning to store the data, and retrieving and manipulating the data for data analysis of system capabilities. Providing required application support during system failures, coordinating with L1/L2 support teams, and debugging complex technical issues and providing remediation. Analyzing the impact of changes to various source systems to Compliance controls, reviewing and analyzing the user data/software requirements and determining the feasibility of the design and ensuring time and cost is minimal. Diagnosing production issues, modifying the existing programs/software and correcting the errors, designing and creating remediation plans, and working with Production Support to test and deploy modified software/programs.
Qualifications – External
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).
Experience: 5 years of technical experience building and supporting Enterprise Data Platforms using Informatica ETL with Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Greenplum); developing ETL using file formats (Mainframe VSAM, XML, Excel and CSV) in Informatica ETL Tool; designing, developing, documenting, testing, implementing and maintaining Physical and Logical data models using Erwin; developing AIX and Linux Shell Scripts to automate the daily and monthly batch process; developing and scheduling batch jobs using scheduling tools (Tidal, Autosys and Informatica); building integration for Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) solution in the banking / financial services industry; and 2 years of experience must include uploading and downloading data from AWS Cloud; with multiple Informatica version upgrades and testing strategy; and leading multiple data integration solutions and implementations.
Other: Required to work nights & weekends & be on-call during non-business hours as necessary for technical support & maintenance purposes.
