In this role you will be responsible for liaising between the business and implementation teams to guide products from conception to launch, breaking down complex problems into steps that drive development. You will work with all business groups on a myriad of projects and enhancement requests and draw on your experience with business, technology, data, and analytics as well as demonstrated success in building relationships with client-facing business stakeholders and users.
Participate in the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
Execute against a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
Partner with business, stakeholders, and users to capture objectives and translate into requirements that enhance productivity and improve efficiency
Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the solution meets the business requirements
Partner with other product managers where there are cross-platform dependencies
Work closely across teams to solve day-to-day issues, test new features and fixes before released, and ensure appropriate training
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
6-8 years' experience in building software products as a product manager or product owner
Experience within a technology organization in the financial industry
Experience operating in an Agile environment
Good understanding of technical concepts and consideration in building complex web applications, systems integration, and comfort in working closely with engineers
Experience managing the product lifecycle from planning to completion
Thinks big picture and understands the potential risk and impact of decisions
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to lead through influence and drive results
Exceptional time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Stay on top of tasks and responsibilities; works well with minimal supervision; responds in a timely manner
