Overall Purpose of Job:

Ensuring proper payroll payments; ongoing support of employees and managers; providing a range of HR services to all business units in adherence to all relevant internal and external regulatory requirements for MBE

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of HR functions and services focussing on payroll, HR reporting and other HR operational tasks including ad hoc information

  • Responsible for all necessary data in communication with the local external payroll to ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local guidelines

  • Advise employees and ensure correct accounting regarding the company pension scheme

  • Responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding of employees (e.g. preparation of all necessary documents according to the internal and EMEA guidelines)

  • Register all personal data in Workday and taking care of the time recording system

  • Respond to a wide range of employee enquiries

  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes, procedures and practices

Profile and Requirements

  • Qualified education or training in a business related subject, best would be having gained a profound understanding of HR processes and timeframes by previous work experience

Functional/Technical Skills and Knowledge requirements

  • Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements and ability to provide advice thereon

  • HR administration ability, including input and control of accounting entries

  • Intercultural competencies are preferred

  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office products

  • Fluent German and English are essential

  • Solution-oriented team player with an independent and accurate approach to work
