Are you a creative writer with experience in the digital space?

Job Summary:

Our 'officially' titled Digital Communications Specialist will be a part of the Digital Banking Experience team. As a key member of this team, you will work in tandem with designers, UX and web development professionals, marketing, and compliance partners to bring to life new and customer first-in-class digital experiences.

This is an individual contributor role.

In this newly created role, you will:

  • Write purposeful and actionable content

  • Present clear rationale behind recommendations based on brand and voice guidelines, business objectives, target audience, and current best standards.

  • Collaborate with digital designers, developers, executives and other partners through all stages of an initiative and provide content leadership to ensure that projects are on target and on time.

  • Lead content development and strategy for all bank digital properties, including mobile application, online banking web, kiosk, and ATM

  • Take a customer centric approach as it relates to design thinking and user experience

  • Ensure that our brand voice and message is powerfully and consistently communicated

  • Write clear, concise, and engaging content copy while maintaining a consistent tone at all times

  • Translate voice of the customer, industry trends, and strategic imperatives to evolve call center customer engagement experience with digital capabilities

  • Ability to work within a dynamic, collaborative, and creative environment

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients

  • Strong experience collaborating with designers during various phases of content development

Qualifications

Education, Years of Experience, and Type of Work Experience

  • 5 years experience in copywriting and copyediting

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or related field

  • Outstanding grammar and writing as well a refined ability to proofread and edit

  • Ability to be a natural storyteller with excellent attention to detail

  • You are a self-starter

  • Highly organized and willingness to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience writing for financial services or other regulated industries

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
