  • This position requires bilingual skills (Japanese/English) and is a key role to coordinate efforts and liaise between the Americas (to include Canada and LatAm) and Tokyo Head Office in various areas, including information security and regulatory / internal reporting, as well as coordination within the organization.

Major Responsibilities:

  • This position requires bilingual skills (Japanese/English)

  • Liaise between the Americas and Tokyo Head Office for responsibilities below under the consultation with supervisors.

  • As liaison of Tokyo Head Office in information security field, collaborate with local offices to enhance information security and ensure policy compliance; as well as cooperating with technology teams to implement policy requirements.

  • Conduct periodical regulatory reporting required by Japanese regulators such as Japanese Financial Service Agency (JFSA) and various internal reporting including incident report to Head Office.

  • Participate meetings and enterprise-wide initiatives as representation of the division. Effective coordination with business units and report to management is part of the responsibility.

  • Familiarize with enterprise policies and procedures and be involved with risk related tasks, such as business continuity planning, records management and issue/incident management.

  • Be familiar with administrative tasks within the team to improve workplace effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Escalate issues that require management's attention to mitigate execution risks of these initiatives.


  • +5 year business experience, Banking sector experience preferred.

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Communication skills, written and verbal

  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • English (business level), Japanese (business level) required.
