HR responsibility for designated team:

  • Hiring/Terminations

  • Mid-Year and Annual Reviews

  • Training and Development

  • General Management of Day to Day

Approval Authority:

  • Prescreen for Loans within Authority Level and Loans at SCM/SCA level

  • Loan Structuring Collaboration

  • Review loans with BDOs and determine if loan is creditworthy and/or SBA eligible

  • New Loan approval actions include Briefing Racer package review and Final Racer package review

  • Approval Actions (New Loan Approvals, RAA, and grade changes


  • Involvement in Prescreening and deal discussion

  • Involved if within credit authority and if loan needs to be underwritten by SBA team

  • Involved before there is a commitment/signed terms sheet

  • Loan Structuring.

  • Simple analysis of financials / tax return to determine if creditworthy

New Loan Origination Management:

  • Deal assignment

  • Loan prescreen, preflight, and deal discussions

  • Underwrite on occasion to assist with load balancing

  • Underwriting conventional loan requests

  • Pre-review of loan packages prior to Racer submission

  • Manage QC responses

  • Manage CCQC responses

  • Participate in weekly pipeline calls

  • Participate in monthly construction pipeline calls

Other Functions:

  • Assist with any updates to policy

  • SBA Project Initiatives (various projects related to SBA as needed)

  • Maintaining Job Aids / Desktops
