Job Summary:

As the Product Owner, you will develop end-to-end vision and strategy for specific digital payment customer journeys, as well as collaborating and executing on the vision. You will also be responsible for identifying current customer challenges, defining and prioritizing roadmap for the journey and working closely with all partners to deliver on it in the most efficient way.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the journey you've developed.

  • Capture market intelligence (customer pain-points, competitive landscape, industry trends) to inform the roadmap.

  • Collaborate with lines of business to understand business goals and priorities, and gain alignment and consensus on the product roadmap.

  • Collaborate with design, technology, marketing, and operations teams to successfully meet release and delivery deadlines of new functionalities.

  • Work closely with the Agile development team, and prioritize to execute roadmap in the most efficient way.

  • Actively mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback and “own” journey analytics to continuously improve customer experience and prioritize roadmap and backlog.

  • Partner with control functions to ensure the journey adheres to all legal and compliance requirements.



  • 5 years of experience as a project coordinator, product innovator/developer, or product owner of digital products, of which, at least 1 year of experience as a product owner/manager, preferably in financial services.

  • Passionate about client experience and happiness.

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles; experience with JIRA/Aha preferred.

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Strong analytic, strategic, and innovative thinking, as well as customer empathy.

  • Effective teamwork and team-building skills.

  • Able to collaborate with a variety of leaders of varying management levels across business lines.

  • BA is required or comparable work experience; MBA is a plus.
