The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Job Summary

This position is for a Senior Mobile/MacOS engineer supporting the day-to-day engineering activities within the Configuration Management team. This individual will work closely with all teams within the Endpoint Engineering organization to support all Mobile & MacOS related technologies and peripherals, as well as offer engineering support and guidance to all other support teams within the overall Technology organization.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day engineering activities of all Intune & JAMF policies & controls, as well as all managed iOS, Android, & MacOS devices

  • Mentor and guide level 2 & Service Desk staff and provide SME advice on all network operations problem calls.

  • Create and maintain documentation for responsible technologies including diagrams, SOPs, TSS, runbooks, end user guides, etc.

  • Ensuring compliance across all mobile Intune & JAMF-managed MacOS devices

  • Troubleshoot through to resolution customer issues in accordance with priorities set forth by the department.

  • Continuously document and review recommended best practices to aid in continuous improvement and decreasing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

  • Monitor the performance & health of the Microsoft, Intune & JAMF infrastructure and make suggestions for improving availability & efficiency.

  • Provide escalated technical support and training for Tier I and Tier II technical personnel.

  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing service delivery, and automating manual processes.

  • Contribute to the Design and Support of current and future product development.

  • Provide timely, effective, clear, and concise communications.

  • Create and maintain departmental documentation.

  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for anything related to the configuration, deployment, or management of mobile/Mac devices and configurations.

  • Provide guidance for configuration of endpoint agents/clients (Microsoft Defender/CrowdStrike/Symantec/etc.) and device restriction profiles.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience managing iOS, Android, & MacOS devices in an Enterprise environment, with Financial Industry experience a plus

  • Proficient in Intune & JAMF MDM administration, and all related settings & controls including but not limited to Conditional Access, App Protection, Compliance, Azure App Proxy, Per-App VPN, JAMF Connect, Zero-Touch enrollment, OS updates & upgrades, Device Configuration Profiles, Custom profiles, Apple Business Manager, etc., specifically how they apply to iOS, MacOS, and Android devices.

  • As the firm’s premier Mobility SME, the ability to work well in a team environment, sometimes with narrow deadlines, to take ownership of your area of technology and deliver results.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • 3-4 years minimum in an engineering role managing Intune & JAMF environments.

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience preferred.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $145K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
