Party Master Data Steward, AVP
The Data Steward Lead is a meaningful role with high visibility. Intellectual curiosity, a good work ethic, and ability to relate processes to data are important characteristics.
Lead subject matter expert and chair for party master data in enterprise-wide domain working group
Critical role in Key Data Element expansion effort for party / customer data including definition, metadata, and data quality rules for Key Data Elements
Define the master data required for a process/system to perform a task and identifies the most appropriate source of data.
Establish necessary controls and remediate gaps for business processes related to party data to comply with Data Management Policy
Integral role in identification, root cause analysis, and resolution of data quality issues and problems related to party data
Identify and certify golden sources for party data
Assist with lineage of party data, particularly between production and aggregation
Provide input on data requirements and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in efforts sponsored by the business unit which impact data
An in-depth knowledge of business processes related to party data, especially onboarding and KYC
Recommend changes to data governance policies and procedures when and where necessary to improve data governance quality.
Influence decisions with technical partners, internal teams, senior management, and external partners.
Familiarity with Data concepts including; Data Governance, Data Policy, MDM, Data Quality including Data Integrity, Accuracy and Conformity, Metadata, Business Glossary, Lineage, Taxonomies, Data Consumers, Data Producers
Ability to drive large projects involving data
Proficiency in Microsoft tools, Excel, Word, Access
Experience in Tableau preferred (not required)
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Must be able to effectively interact with, present information to, and respond to questions from all levels of the organization and partners.
Familiarity with KYC, BSA, CIP / CDD
