Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring due dates for credit applications, borrower ratings, financials indicators and escalate to the appropriate persons in order to mitigate credit risk to the bank.

  • Prepare regular reports including but not limited to borrow ratings, conditions and instructions to ensure its accuracy and timely submission to Head Office/Regional Office, Credit Examiners, Credit Advisors as well as Bank Negara Malaysia.

  • Complete administration activities, including but not limited to filing/storage of documentation, coordinating training, data entry, managing the logistics for meeting, training and visitors, liaising with other departments.

  • Assist Credit Appraisers in processing Borrower Ratings, Credit Application renewals and Covenant Checking.

  • Responsible for ensuring that the customer database is updated in a timely manner and for the integrity of the data.

  • Support the delivery of timely process improvement initiatives for the department.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.

  • Possesses good administrative skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in credit analysis work is preferred. However, fresh graduates will also be considered.

  • A team player who is meticulous and detail oriented.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
