Responsibilities:
Lead IT system project initiatives in all phases including initiation, requirement gathering, design specification review, and implementation roll out.
Lead workshops and meetings with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyse business processes, and translating to technical design documents.
Develop and maintain technical documentations, including standard operating procedures, project requirements and user manuals.
Provide technical expertise and advice to team throughout system implementation stages and during incident investigation.
Review existing IT platform build, developed processes, system performance, potential bottlenecks and provide improvement plan progressively.
Perform study and assessment on various system data source, data mapping and any data related matters to ensure accurate data integration and data extraction across systems.
Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional project teams, including developer, analyst, engineers, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution and delivery of project objectives.
Support and resolve production issues and incidents within the agreed SLA. Identify and address root causes and countermeasures to prevent further recurrence.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.
Requirements:
Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution with minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Possesses strong knowledge in Programming/Scripting Languages: C#, VB and VB.net as well as Programming Tools/Databases: Visual Studio, SQL Server and Microsoft. Knowledge in banking products and accounting will be an added advantage.
Experienced in core banking and enterprise application digital transformation.
Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in banking environment.
Good understanding in IT Banking applications and systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-pace, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle business users and IT personnel requests.
