Overview of the Department/Section
MUFG has a developing and thriving Transaction Banking business, headquartered in Tokyo, and spanning all continents. Transaction Banking EMEA (TB EMEA) incorporating Europe, Middle East and Africa, forms part of MUFG’s Global Transaction Banking Division
We cover the international corporate treasury needs of our global customers, both Japanese and Global Corporates. Our key responsibilities are to drive regional business and support global and regional customers with Transaction Banking solutions in Trade Finance, Cash and Liquidity Management and Foreign Exchange.
Main Purpose of the Role
Provide day to day administrative support to the Head and Deputy Head of Transaction Banking EMEA and assist with wider team support when required. Given that the role will involve access to private and confidential information, the candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality. Any breaches will be a cause for dismissal.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to business heads as required, including:
Diary Management, including meeting co-ordination both external and internal
Travel and entertainment, adhering to MUFG policies
Daily administration/preparation of papers
Completion of appropriate expense claims in a timely manner
Presentations preparation as required
General administration including new joiner set up
Processing and management of invoices
Organising data, spreadsheet updates
Document meeting minutes
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within MUFG both regionally and globally.
Provide support for other areas of TB EMEA as required
Support the Business Management & Strategic Planning team in the smooth running of the department
Other administrative duties as deemed appropriate by the Head of Department.
Work Experience
- Proven Personal Assistant (PA)/Office management experience in a banking/financial environment.

Competent in PowerPoint and Excel to create decks, spreadsheets
Education / Qualifications:
- A level and/or relevant work experience within financial services.

Please note we operate a hybrid working model - 3 days office based and 2 days WFH.
