MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

MUFG Bank

Supporting the execution of client securitisation transactions and the EIBD (Investment Banking Division for EMEA) Securitisation origination activities.

MUFG Securities (as required)

Provide support to senior team members to assist in the development of the MUFG public ABS franchise in EMEA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

MUFG Bank

  • Support the Directors, Structuring under co-ordination of the structuring team leader in executing securitisation transactions (Diversified Pool, Accounts Receivable Purchase Schemes, Supply Chain Finance and Fund Finance) including reviewing documentation and liaising with the client, external and internal counterparties.

  • Prior experience in RMBS and particularly structuring and/or rating RMBS transactions a plus (but not a requirement).

  • Analyse and produce structural risk memoranda and reports including cash flow modelling with regard to new and existing securitisation transactions.

  • Support the origination of securitisation products to Corporate Banking (EBD/ACBG)/EMEA branch clients including the preparation of marketing materials and presentations.

  • Liaise with clients at a counterpart level to relay specific information and respond to routine queries ensuring a high level of customer service.

  • Liaise with internal counterparts throughout MUFG to gather relevant information to support decision making and planning.

  • Assist with the development of securitisation knowledge of other MUFG staff.

  • Develop a knowledge base of regulatory issues relating to securitisation and developments in the securitisation market.

  • Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration.

MUFG Securities (as required)

  • Support the execution of private placement and public ABS transactions in EMEA where required.

  • Support senior originators in the origination of private placement and public ABS transactions in EMEA adopting a product neutral approach;

  • Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration.

  • Work in partnership with other parts of MUFG to deliver franchise and business growth.
