Early Careers

  • Support the recruitment of early careers talent – promote opportunities externally, track candidate applications, organise & run campus & insight events, arrange and conduct interviews, assist with the preparation and delivery of Assessment Days & the offer process.

  • Assist the Head of Early Careers to organise & run Early Career Programmes such as insight days, work experience programme, apprenticeship programmes, Internships and Analyst Programmes.

  • Support the management of the early careers budgets and assist with the invoicing process, as required

Talent Acquisition

  • Support the delivery of lateral recruitment in EMEA through maintenance of policies and processes, and collaborating with HRIS on enhancement of our recruiting system, Workday.

  • Work with global and regional colleagues to continuously improve recruitment guides and resources for EMEA.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to position MUFG an employer of choice for both early careers and lateral hires.

Support the Organisational Development Team

  • Support the implementation of culture, talent, performance, learning and development, inclusion & diversity projects and initiatives as required.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement within Organisational Development team through undertaking review of current process to understand barriers and possible solutions; conducting external research into good practice and new ideas.

  • Provide general support to the Head of Organisational Development and other team members as required.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Experience of managing projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience of working in a complex professional services organisation

  • Experience of working within a HR team, or involvement in people-related activities such as employee networks.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of HR within financial services

  • Operational knowledge of HR management systems preferably Workday and Success Factors

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, able to adapt style and tone to suit the audience.

  • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and competency working with Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel in particular.

  • Strong organisational skills with experience in managing multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders

  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritise a challenging workload and act with urgency, delivering to multiple, sometimes tight, deadlines

  • Ability to take the initiative and be pro-active

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
