Overall Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) strategy and action plans for I&D and Culture & Engagement (C&E).

  • Lead on the design, management and roll out of key projects and initiatives and events including but not limited to education programmes, awareness events and targeted initiatives including mentoring and development opportunities supporting I&D and C&E

  • Provide advice and guidance to the wider HR team on the practical application of any diversity related policies and introduction of action plans in support of the I&D Strategy and C&E deliverables

  • Support and partner with other OD and HR COEs and HR Business Partners to ensure that I&D and C&E are embedded into all HR and business processes, policy development, monitoring and evaluation

  • Collaborate with ESG colleagues to drive and embed sustainability, and align the Culture and ESG strategies.

  • Research and advise on current and emerging I&D and C&E trends and issues.

  • Coordination of and input into relevant benchmarks, award submissions and charters

  • Management of the Employee Network Programme, and support Culture Influencers and ongoing Focus Group activity.

  • Working directly with Network Co-Chairs and their leadership team to enable the delivery of their strategies and action plans on time and within budget.

  • Implement ongoing focus groups alongside the CHRO and Workforce Engagement Ambassador in order to gather the opinions of employees on our culture and ensure feedback/actions encompassed in Culture activity

Inclusion & Diversity

  • Deliver the annual reporting for I&D related regulatory requirements and commitments, including: MUFG’s Gender Pay Gap and HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter in the UK, in addition to other I&D monitoring and benchmarking activities

  • Monitoring and reporting on spend against I&D budget. Coordinate with HR Shared Services to ensure timely payment of service fees

Culture & Engagement

  • Manage the MUFG Employee (MES) annual survey and new Pulse Surveys in accordance with global project timelines.

  • Lead on the implementation of a new global feedback tool in EMEA and Securities International, moving from an annual survey towards pulse/real-time feedback.

  • Review survey reports, identify and communicate themes

  • Produce action planning materials, employee and management communications, and drive action planning

  • Work with regional HR leads to conduct needs analysis and preferred approach for seeking employee feedback, including technical requirements, engagement.

  • Liaise with planning and compliance teams to determine needs for awareness surveys and explore opportunities to move toward real-time dynamic feedback
