We're seeking a Specialty Services Analyst to work on various projects across the organization. As part of a team, you will provide a change management role and interact with partners across Finance, Treasury, and Risk.

In general, the specialty services team augments the capabilities sought from Big 4 consulting firms. It's an internal consultancy that provides advice and implementation support for enterprise programs on rotating engagements and medium to long term project assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply a structured methodology to assigned project engagements, which may include Finance, Risk, or enterprise-wide program initiatives.

  • Develop and execute project plans, status reports, and management and committee updates, at the direction of engagement leaders.

  • Designs new policies and processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Develop project life cycle documents as required, including initiation requests, execution requests, business requirements and, resource plans.

  • Make recommendations to management to identify methods, procedures, and technologies that improve project execution.

  • Handle the reporting and resolution of issues, risks, and dependencies, suggesting actions to close issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA, CFA, and/or PMP certification preferred, but not required

  • 3-5 years experience in Finance in a lead role, project manager, or comparable experience

  • Banking industry experience with emphasis on Finance, Treasury, and Risk with a solid understanding of operations and technology

  • Experience leading and managing programs and/or large projects from start to finish with specific experience in:

  • Finance and treasury system implementations or conversions

  • Treasury best practices and regulatory guidelines

  • Process improvement assessments / implementation

  • Mergers and Acquisitions

  • Legal Entity restructuring

  • Turnaround, tight timeline, and/or crisis environments

  • Strong leadership, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Concise written and verbal communication skills; ability to size issues and articulate based upon the audience

  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player.

  • Ability to work independently and with all levels of management within and outside of Finance.
