Responsibilities:

  1. List Maintenance (AML & Sanctions Lists).

  2. Conduct Sanctions screening on a periodical basis (e.g. MOHA, UNSCR)

  3. AML Sanction Trade Finance guidance / advisory and regulatory review.

  4. Review of escalations from Centre of Excellence (CoE).

  5. Provide screening hit advisory.

  6. Submit Suspicious Transaction Report (STR).

  7. Review ABC related approvals (entertainment and gift)

  8. Assist Team lead in various task such as providing info for monthly management reporting.

  9. Sanction related training and coordination (sharing of training material and updates on sanction to stakeholders)

  10. Assist in others Financial Crime Compliance ("FCC") team related task (as required).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in financial crime risk management particularly FCC operations within banking environment.

  • Relevant experience in other sections of banking industry will be considered as an advantage.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university or its equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian, Japanese and US banking regulations / guidelines in relation to FCC risks (AML, Sanctions and Anti-bribery & Corruption).

  • Strong self-motivated person who can work under minimal supervision with professional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
