Responsibilities:

  • To conduct credit rating review of Japanese Corporate Banking Department borrowers.

  • Analyse & comment on the financial performance of the borrowers.

  • Assign an appropriate credit rating to the borrowers.

  • Attend to enquiries from CBCD or CD concerning the content of the Rating Application.

  • Generate & update rating related statistic reports as per Head of Department or Managing Director’s request.

  • Covenants Monitoring for Japanese Corporate (“JC”) customers.

  • Responsible for the interim and Low Rated Report Due Date Control.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.

  • Preferably with minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience especially in Credit analysis role.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Good knowledge of banking regulatory environment, relevant laws & regulations, industry trends and products including good credit analytical skill.

  • Possess good written and oral communication skills in dealing with internal employees or external customers/client.

  • Strong PC skills particularly in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access.
