Contribute to the Trade Finance business development by providing support to Trade Sales Officers in managing and executing transactions for new business and the existing portfolio. This includes credit approval process and discussions with related divisions such as credit departments, Trade Service Operations, Transaction Banking Division, Tokyo, Legal and Risk Management
Prepare pitch books and other marketing material
Interact with RM offices and coordinate approval process
Frequent interaction with middle and back office teams.
Ensure transactions adhere with the banks compliance, risk and regulatory frameworks.
Assist in the negotiation of legal documentation
Monitor existing portfolio for attrition and opportunities to increase utilization of existing facilities.
Execute documentation and booking of transactions
Help identify prospects which align with the strategy of Trade Finance
A Bachelor’s degree is required and MBA is preferable
A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in trade finance
Team-oriented and strong communication skills.
Analytical and ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of existing Trade Finance products is a decisive asset
An interest in international trade and finance is essential
Strong MS Office skills
Excellent analytical and written communication skills
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
