Job Description

The Risk Management Analyst reports directly to the assigned Division Risk Manager. The analyst will support the reporting and implementation needs of risk management programs across assigned divisions. Initial scope will include report development and maintenance for fraud, risk and compliance support. Major Responsibilities: Supports the Division Risk Manager in developing and maintaining comprehensive Risk Management reporting. This includes developing and maintaining web content for OCSG's risk management site; developing fraud trend reporting; managing Risk Resolve conversion and supporting all a risk and fraud reporting needs or as directed by Management. (65%) Acts as Lead Business Compliance Analyst for risk management and supports and coordinates assigned modules of operational risk and controls within assigned OCSG division. Modules include but are not limited to: information security, human resources, Sarbanes-Oxley, fraud, vendor management, business continuity, regulatory compliance, product risk, and model validation. (15%) Performs Risk & Control evaluations in conjunction with Division Risk manager for assigned processes and manages remediation activities for control deficiencies. Supports regular reporting to Senior Management on fraud, risk and compliance projects, the status of any identified high risk activities, and any significant deficiencies identified. (10%) Leads key cross-functional projects designed to assess and improve control environment or ensure compliance with existing or new regulations. Lead projects across other divisions or business units within the Bank. Projects will require the involvement of numerous business channels (Commercial, Retail, Small Business, Wealth, etc) and corporate groups (Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance, Legal, Vendor Management, etc). On occasion, will also interface with external parties (Regulators, consultants, business/industry oriented activity councils, etc.) (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong industry knowledge and technical expertise. Strong foundational knowledge in assessing compliance risk and control environments. Able to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships across the Bank. Broad and polished communication skills - presentation, verbal and written. Project management skills: capable of leading a complex cross-functional project Relationship Management skills are critical; must establish trust and confidence in operational managers and supervisors across the organization. Comfortable working with minimal supervision; results oriented. Ability to effectively direct, guide, and coordinate staff in risk coverage efforts. Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, operational management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience. Five + years experience working in financial services. Five or more years experience in compliance related role is required. Demonstrated ability to create and execute training programs on specific subject matter. Experience managing and or coordinating a team is preferred.
