Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients and prospecting for new technology industry clients

  • Continually work to broaden and deepen the bank's relationship with clients in the assigned industry or geographic segment

  • Seek to form a dialogue with senior members of the client's treasury staff with the goal of developing contact between the bank's senior management and the senior members of the client's management team to enhance relationship

  • Maintain and develop a list of all potential client prospects within the assigned portfolio; these prospects should be qualified based on their credit worthiness and credit requirements as well as their "fit" with the MUFG product set

  • Identify and institute a dialogue with members of the client's treasury team

  • Coordinate introductions of MUFG Product Team members to client's specialists handling capital markets activities, FX, currency and interest rate hedging, mergers and acquisitions, leasing, securitization, and cash management activities

  • Construct, design, and lead various strategic staffing initiatives or projects which are required due to external market factors or internal market initiatives; project life cycles and complexity vary according to mission

  • Supervise, as necessary, junior staff members in daily transactions

  • Perform duties and participates in special projects as required

  • If you are Investment Banks staff who is a registered representative, you are expected to refer business to MUFG Securities

We require:

  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field of study, an MBA is a decisive asset

  • 10+ years of banking experience, business origination/sales, credit and product training, preferably with money center banks

  • Client Banking Tech industry work experience is preferred

  • A well-developed network of professional peers and track record of achievements with prior assignments

  • Knowledge and experience in finance, specifically in emerging markets area and corporate finance

  • Advanced knowledge of credit analysis

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
