Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead new business development for Middle Market Technology Banking

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients and prospecting for new technology industry clients

  • Develop new relationships with Equity Sponsors including VC’s, Private Equity and Corporate VC

  • Lead Bi-lateral loan originations and participate in pro rata Middle Market syndications in the Technology Sector

  • Partner with MUFG Transaction Banking, FX, Debt and Equity Capital Markets to exceed clients banking needs

  • Communicate with client's management team to enhance relationship and manage business risk

  • Identify and institute a dialogue with members of the client's treasury team

  • Coordinate with credit approvers and underwriting team to grow and manage a portfolio of Middle Market Technology Clients

  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects

  • Supervise, as necessary, junior staff members in daily transactions

  • Perform duties and participates in special projects as required

We require:

  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field of study, an MBA is a decisive asset

  • 10+ years of banking experience, business origination/sales, credit and product training, preferably with money center banks

  • Client Banking Tech industry work experience is preferred

  • A well-developed network of professional peers and track record of achievements with prior assignments

  • Knowledge and experience in finance, specifically in emerging markets area and corporate finance

  • Advanced knowledge of credit analysis

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
