This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.

Summary:

We're seeking a Senior Employee Relations Consultant to provide client solutions to all employees and managers in the assigned geographic areas and/or business units, with an emphasis on analysis and resolution of complex issues, investigations, performance management, and organization or job changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely and thorough internal investigations involving coordination with other partners and prepare all required documentation.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, interpretation, and administration of employee relations policies and procedures.

  • Craft strategies for resolving employee issues.

  • Ensure that all employee matters are handled with a consistent and focused approach.

  • Coach and influence management regarding critical and complex employee relations decisions.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to support the process and administration of organizational changes.

  • Record and track employee relations data in the case management system.

  • Respond to and resolve all types of discrimination charges and complaints.

  • Work with legal counsel on lawsuit discovery and litigation preparation.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of employee relations experience

  • Large corporation HR experience preferred

  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret information, and identify trends

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related combination of education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $105,000– $130,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
