Reporting into a Managing Director of Planning Department of Global Financial Crimes Division, this position is responsible for managing GFCD’s budget and expenses by collecting and analyzing data associated with budget/expenses and creating reports on them. The responsibilities also include tasks for enhancing and ensuring the GFCD’s budget management structures. In addition to that, the position is also responsible for preparing necessary documentations and arrangements on GFCD initiatives which need to be reported/socialized or approved in Japan.
As finance manager, you will handle MUFG's Global Financial Crimes Division (GFCD)’s budget and expenses mainly through the following tasks;
You will lead initiatives associated with cost-effectiveness, such as expense management and third-party vendor costs.
You will work collaboratively to enhance and ensure the integrity of GFCD's budgeting framework; in collaboration with the Risk Finance team, regional offices and Tokyo counterparties.
You will initiate and oversee necessary aspects of GFCD projects, including communicating with relevant divisions and crafting reports.
You will collect and analyze information on expenses, and create reports reflecting important trends and data. Overall support of the GFCD budget.
You will be responsible for successful management of projects associated with GFCD planning.
You will identify and report issues associated with the responsibilities above as needed.
A Bachelor’s degree. An MBA or Master’s degree is preferred
We seek someone who is bilingual (English and Japanese)
5 plus years of experience working in financial institutions; experience in a planning capacity is helpful
Basic understanding of Financial Crimes Compliance
You will have a collaborative approach and strong communication skills in English and Japanese;
You have a high degree of integrity and Carefulness and accurateness in work
