Job Summary:

Business Analyst required to support MUFG’s efforts to transition from LIBOR to a new alternative reference rate (ARR). In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for initial scoping, requirements gathering, analysis and solutioning of highly complex business problems supporting the Wholesale (Corporate and Investment Banking) Organization. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, Operations and Technology to plan and manage the effective delivery of key milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical expertise in capturing, analyzing and documenting business process requirements.

  • Provides input into project plan, build requirements, support design, testing and implementation of new processes, systems and services to enable effective LIBOR transition.

  • Performs highly complex systems process analysis, design and simulation. Understands technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as future business environment.

  • Identifies solutions to unusual and complex problems requiring ingenuity, or innovative thinking. Monitors implementation and user satisfaction.

  • Actively contributes and champions the development of the change delivery process.

  • Partners with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and impacts that may impede delivery of critical business process changes.

  • Provides expertise in tactical execution, project management, process management and business systems requirements definition. Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending appropriate system alternatives and/ or enhancements to current systems by analyzing process, systems and industry standards.

  • Liases between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise and logical manner, ensuring seamless end to end delivery.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the principles of business analysis.

  • Material knowledge of Banking or Financial Services industry, specifically Wholesale banking products & services (Corporate and Investment Banking).

  • A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other directly related field.
