FED Regulatory Reporting VP will be responsible for:
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual Federal Reserve Regulatory reports
Reconciliations of subledger trade activities to GL, validation of counterparty and security static data, and provide variance commentaries
Prepare/review Federal Reserve reports FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, and FFIEC 009, Department of the Treasury TIC reports TIC-SLT, BC, BL, S, and Department of Commerce reports BE-605, BE-180, and BE-125
Knowledge of RWA calculations under Basel 1,2 &3 and CCAR and Stress testing
Coordination with stakeholders across the organization to confirm financial data and static data
Business Lead on automation project to improve efficiency on regulatory reporting
Maintenance/update procedure documentation related to new regulatory requirements
Manage junior staffs and backfill for manager’s role
Backup for US Broker Dealer daily net capital computation for FINRA/SEC regulatory reports
10-15 years of experience in Regulatory or Accounting in the financial industry
Knowledge of trading products like Corporate Bonds, Equity, FX, Future and Options, financing activities like Repo and securities lending
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economic
Experience with financial general ledger systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft)
Experience with financial database query tools (Business Objects, Hyperion)
Microsoft Excel proficient (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, Sumif, Macros)
Highly proactive, resourceful and collaborative
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
