Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (MUSA) provides investment banking and brokerage products and services to institutional clients throughout the Americas. MUSA, is headquartered in New York and is active throughout the international capital markets, focusing on fixed income, debt, equity, derivatives and structured products.
Job Summary / Responsibilities:
Significant role in originating and executing consumer flow conduit and term ABS transactions, including idea generation, analysis and execution:
Develop pitch book materials to support the conduit and term ABS financing and issuance efforts.
Assist Calling Officers in relationship development with clients. including responding to requests and in-person meetings.
Review and analyze portfolio specific data and cash-flows.
Coordinate internal processes related to conduit financing.
Execute conduit and term ABS transactions.
Oversee and train junior staff to complete pitches and execute transactions.
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as credit, syndicate, sales and trading teams and with third parties such as legal counsel, accountants, rating agencies and investors to execute transactions.
Participate in special assignments and projects as required.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Prior term ABS banking experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability.
Strong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment.
A pro-active, motivated approach.
The ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work accordingly.
A creative and innovative approach to work.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
