Job Summary :

The Americas Structured Solutions team originates, structures and manages risk for structured finance transactions across fixed income, equity and equity-linked assets. The team works closely with MUFG’s relationship managers, bankers and sales force to tailor products that address the needs of the bank’s clients.

Responsibilities

  • Work with client coverage teams and clients in originating and structuring structured finance transactions

  • Perform in depth analysis of transaction structure and underlying collateral pledged in support of structured financing transactions. Analysis will assess liquidity, credit and market risk to guide the team in recommending appropriate solutions while managing risk mitigation, position haircuts, client goals & ROI

  • Assist in the internal approval processes and work closely with internal control groups

  • Support the team in the risk management of transactions, including collateral and liquidity management

  • Review of documentation in coordination with internal and external counsel

  • Work with a diverse group of relationship and coverage teams to support the marketing and origination effort for Structured Solutions

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. An advanced Master’s degree in Quantitative Analytics, Accounting, Financial Engineering and or an MBA is helpful

  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience of working on complex financing structured solutions with a focus on the equity and equity-linked product suite.

  • Experience and track record in financing equity and equity-linked products using both derivative and cash structures.

  • Expertise in equity and equity-linked instruments with a particular focus on strategic equity finance

  • Experience executing transactions from inception to closing

  • Experience managing risk
