MUFG Supply Chain Finance Onboarding - AVP in New York, New York

The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Support Onboarding Manager by supervising our Offshore contractors with enrollment documentation for our Buyer-Led programs. The position will work with Supply Chain Finance (SCF) team members, broader MUFG functional partners, vendor platforms and internal/external counsel.

Responsibilities:

Analytical Responsibilities:

  • Weekly reporting as required on special programs e.g. Dynamic Discount

  • Maintain and adjust Standard Operating Procedures

  • Analyze current processes for improvement

  • Review and analyze Cycle Time Reporting

Supplier On-Boarding activities:

  • Manage our offshore team and conduct daily meetings with offshore contractors to review suppliers in progress

  • Provide guidance for onboarding activities for TPS and two fin-tech platforms with similar but different Onboarding steps

  • Final Review of documentation received from supplier for completeness and correctness: work directly with supplier and SCF Acquisitions to resolve any issues

  • Oversee special Onboarding requirements for foreign suppliers.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve completion of supplier onboarding (i.e. SCF Acquisitions, Operations, Legal etc.)

  • Review and approve UCC filings/collateral descriptions and work with external/internal Legal counsel and SCF Acquisition to resolve outstanding liens

  • Utilize and approve Onboarding process steps in multiple internal/external systems

  • Ensure Suppliers in-flight are assigned and tracked

  • Review and Code Vendor invoices in our internal systems

  • Special projects

Qualifications

  • Completion of a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.)

  • Excellent attention to details

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to take charge, follow up, and simultaneously manage multiple activities concurrently.

  • Excellent interpersonal/communications capabilities with the ability to work in a multifaceted/diverse team environment.

  • Strong oral and written presentation skills and comfortable working at all levels internally and externally.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment to achieve aggressive onboarding goals.

The typical base range for this role is between $112 to $170K per year depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
