Responsible for originating
conventional residential real estate loans for the Bank and growing the customer base for the private bank. Participate in related business development activities. Private Mortgage Bankers will be assigned support to the Private Bank. Private Bankers are subject to
additional skill sets outlined below.
Solicitresidential first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders anddevelopers, focused on affluent borrowers in our most affluent markets.
Provideservice to high net worth customers and prospects seeking residential mortgageloans. Interview applicants to developinformation concerning their needs, desires and earnings to assist indetermining whether the loan will be an acceptable risk; obtain and analyzepertinent financial and credit data.
Followup current loans to ensure conformity with terms.
Negotiateterms and conditions of loans with mortgagors.
Keepabreast of trends and developments in the local real estate market, as well asthe changing rules and regulations pertaining to private insured mortgages.
Callon potential or existing customers as assigned to develop new business orretain existing business.
Spendhigh focus on deepening customers’ relationships with the bank, by working withPrivate Bankers, Private Wealth Advisors and Senior Financial Advisors.
Workwith Bank partners to provide full service and present all products to currentand potential customers.
Answerinquiries regarding loan programs and rates. Attend daily huddles; conductweekly pipeline reviews.
Providecoaching to Private Bankers.
Worktogether on strategic plans to acquire new customers.
Typicallyrequires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and must have excellent sales andcustomer relations.
3years’ experience in the residential real estate business.
Ability to communicate with high net-worth individuals andtheir advisors.
Ability to introduce Private Bank team members toself-sourced clients and assist in expanding/deepening relationships.
Understand advanced tax analysis and intricacies of wealth.
Superior understanding of UB guidelines and how to apply themin various situations.
Be able to think outside the box and find uniquesolutions that may apply to high net-worth clients.
This position may be subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements.
