Overview of the Department/Section
As a Sales within the Derivative Solutions Group (DSG) team, you will assist our European client base to assess their financial risks and to effectively manage their hedging policy with a focus on Interest Rates Derivatives.
Alongside our Debt Capital Markets team and in close partnership with MUFG Bank (leveraged finance, Project Finance...) and MUFG Securities Rates Trading Group, DSG ensure that our clients experience seamless execution that meets their objectives, providing ideas, competitive pricings, and robust post-trade support.
Main Purpose of the Role
Engage with MUFG targeted clients (Corporates, Sponsors, FI) to develop MUFG Securities Derivatives franchise.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and developing relationships with clients with a view to expand the Department/Unit/International Business enhancing the franchise of MUFG Securities
Accurately price and manage all new transactions and all risk positions; including through the use and continued development of market leading pricing and hedging methodologies.
Take the lead on the production of tailor-made client presentations and pitch-books
Work Experience
Essential:
1-2 years of experience, including internships and apprenticeships
Experience in Fixed Income, structured products, structuring, quants or trading desk is a strong positive
Skills and Experience
Functional / Technical Competencies:
Essential
Excellent knowledge of interest rate derivatives products
Experience in structuring & pricing rates derivatives products
Knowledge of preparing client presentations and term sheets.
Fluency in English is required, as well as at least one other European language (Spanish and/or German)
Personal Requirements
Advanced University/ Engineering school studies in Business / Finance / Economics / International Studies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
