The Strategic Initiative Leader is responsible for managing one to multiple projects and/or supporting directors in strategic engagements. This leader is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the initiative and is responsible for leading and actively managing associated plans, governance, issues, risks, and resource needs to ensure successful delivery.
Education preference: Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA is preferred
Typically requires a minimum 10-15 years program/project management experience
Working knowledge in Financial Services preferred Six sigma certification and /or demonstrated application and thorough understanding of six sigma tools for process-re-engineering in financial services industry or comparable experience is a positive.
Microsoft project proficient and experience with project management methodologies.
Priority setting, problem solving, negotiating, and conflict management skills.
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently.
Ability to coordinate and direct activities of others.
