Job Summary

The MUFG Americas Enterprise Project Prioritization Office (MUFG) is responsible for driving alignment among strategy, projects / work efforts and resources (people and dollars), while crafting standards to support change management during a highly transformative time for MUFG Americas. This is a new position that will build out and have remit over the capacity analysis for non-technology projects.

This role will interact with the EPMO, the Technology Resource Control Tower (RCT), and the LOB PMOs across CUSO. The role will be a key will serve as an “air traffic controller” to ensure we are optimizing our resources to ensure the availability of key resources to enable project execution.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Develop, manage, and evolve a resource capacity analysis approach and framework for the non-technology resource community that will complement the Technology RCT (RCT) datasets as an execution enabler.

  • Work with EPMO and LOB PMO Leadership to facilitate alignment of non-technology resource needs consistent with prioritized projects, including alignment with technology resources

  • After establishing a baseline of resource capacity data, develop a forward-looking view of non-technology resource needs to proactively manage resource conflicts.

  • Produce and deliver communications regarding resource capacity availability to understand overlap, dependencies, and sequencing with the goal of reducing execution risk

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 7 years’ experience with resource planning disciplines or related analytical work

  • Advanced Excel and/or resource capacity analysis platform skillset

  • Ability to work across a wide constituency including but not limited to the EPMO, Lines of Business PMOs, and Technology RCT

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate complex issues and ideas with clarity

  • Ability to holistically problem solve and “drive to yes”, by clearly defining goals, connections, linkages, trade-offs, and interdependencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, including experience acquiring necessary data for building out complex data models in Excel or other appropriate platforms.

  • Strong work ethic, ability to make decisions with imperfect evolving information, and work under tight deadlines

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with an advanced degree preferred
