Security Engineer (Vulnerability Management) - Remote
This role can be remote in any of these States: Arizona, Texas , North Carolina, Washington, Oregon, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, District of Columbia, Utah, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia
As a Security Engineer (Vulnerability Management ) at MUFG, you will be responsible for providing in depth subject matter expertise in operations of infrastructure vulnerability scans and automation of the related activities. As a member of this team, you’ll design and implement security solutions to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability with an eye to timely identify the risk and enhance the operational processes for the organization.
Support the operational activities for infrastructure vulnerability management tool.
Proactively identify the manual activities which can be automated to simplify the operational tasks.
Implement the best practices to improve coverage and accuracy of the scanning.
Identify and generate metrics to measure the progress.
Graduate Degree like B.S, Computer Science preferred
2+ years of hands-on experience with operations of infrastructure vulnerability scanning tools like Qualys, Tenable, Nessus or Rapid 7.
4+ years of hands-on experience with vulnerability management program including assessment, reporting and remediation of vulnerabilities.
Experience in the banking or finance industries preferred
Proven expertise operationalizing one of the commercial infrastructure vulnerability management products in an enterprise setup.
Advanced expertise in vulnerability assessment.
Proficient with language like python.
Familiarity with development using RESTful APIs.
Familiarity of iterative Agile methodologies.
Any of the following are a plus but not necessary; CISSP, CCSP, CKS
