The Supply Chain Finance Operations team reports to the Head of Operations and plays a pivotal role in supporting the business expansion. The processes are undergoing continuous changes due to increased business requirements as well as various in-flight projects looking to provide solutions for scalability of this volume driven business. The operations team partners with various stakeholders within OTA such as: Business Information Tech, Business Solutions, Quality Center of Excellence and many others to develop a sustainable operating model that best supports business and client needs.

Position Overview:

We are looking to hire an experienced Bank Operations and Initiatives Manager to oversee supply chain finance business initiatives from Operational perspective and to meet and keep in stride with business growth ambition. The role will be responsible for championing and representing Operations interests amongst various strategic initiatives and projects pertaining to Supply Chain Finance Operations. You will need to balance integration, operations stabilization, transition from Project to BAU and product implementations accordingly, and ensure appropriate prioritization training and system access. You will work closely with management to keep them abreast of all the ongoing initiatives and projects to best estimate resource needs and ensure operational readiness in support of the business. The candidate may be required to manage others and perform task of people’s manager if the need arises. Some travel may be required.

The incumbent has to be experienced, goal driven and expected to hit the ground running. This role would provide a much needed buffer between front and back office and help facilitate bi-directional communication to provide expedited solution for operationalization of deals.

Specific roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define our products/platforms and operating model and to build out a clear roadmap

  • Collaborate with our business partners to develop a sustainable deal intake process and oversight.

  • Update operational processes and procedures according to new product implementations and system changes, and develop end user training plans when appropriate

  • Ability to interpret business requirements into operational impact and communicate to management effectively and timely in order to promote sustainable operational support of SCF Business in alignment with its expansion

  • Develop and maintain clear transparent governance of all tasks related to meeting project goals.

  • Develop management reporting routines to keep leadership apprised of the progress, risk and issues

  • Provide post implementation support to back office end users and lead critical issue identification, triage, and resolution as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA or Master’s degree with a specific focus on Economics, Business, Finance, or Accounting a plus)

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate banking operations

  • People management experience is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Financing product such as Receivables Financing and Buyer Led Supplier Financing

  • Previous implementation, product management and/or deal structuring highly preferable.

  • Good understanding of corporate organization structure and proven record working with other teams and stakeholders to achieve goals and meet aggressive project deadlines.

  • Experience with large-scale projects spanning across various business units and cross borders

  • Strong Ability to develop partnerships, inspire colleagues and set a vision

  • Flexible in his/her work style, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders

  • Self-motivated with high degree of initiative, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate and develop new concepts processes and value added activities

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage many competing priorities and effectively work under pressure

  • Positive team orientated attitude
